Iain has been investing in global equities for 25 years and is a portfolio manager on the Nikko AM global equity team based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He holds a first-class M.A. Honours degree in Scottish History from the University of St Andrews.
Olaf W. John
Olaf W. John is a Partner at Mercer and since 2020 responsible as Commercial Leader Germany | Investment Solutions for the Investment Solutions division in Germany, which includes the development and implementation of partial and total outsourcing concepts of capital investment for institutional investors. Mr. John holds a degree in business mathematics and is an actuary (DAV). He is a member of various professional associations such as The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, The CFA Society of the UK and Arbeitsgemeinschaft betr. Altersversorgung (aba). He is the author of articles on pensions and asset management and has been working in the institutional pensions industry since the early 1990s. After starting his career as a pension and investment consultant, he spent over 20 years in senior client and sales roles with global asset managers.
As an editor at dpn, Patrick Daum focuses on asset management. Before joining F.A.Z. BUSINESS MEDIA, he worked for more than six years as an equity analyst with CEFA certification at PLATOW Verlag for the small cap stock market letter PLATOW Börse. After studying political science at Philipps University in Marburg, Patrick Daum began his journalistic career in 2012 in the online editorial department of €uro Advisor Services, a subsidiary of FINANZEN Verlag in Munich, where he reported on topics from the fund industry.
